I used Tire Kingdom when i purchased my rear tires. I was not impressed! The steering wheel was straight when they started and off to the right when they finished. Took it back twice and they never could get it back to where it was and supposed to be. Shortly after this, I had to get a part replaced in the steering system at the dealer. They also had to align the car after the repair. It was exactly back to where it was supposed to be. I went back to the tire store and asked then why they had such a hard time and the response was it could have been a new person. I asked if the used any weights, and he said not really and sometimes they will have another person sit in the car. I asked could I look at the specs. in the system and we walked back and had a look. For the setup instructions it was clear about how much weight and where these weighted bags were supposed to be place inside the car. teh alignment tech seemed clueless and was asking the mgr what the weight were for! This was the light that came on and I realized there are certain things that just any ole pereson shouldn't be working on...

As long as one can follow on-screen instructions via computer similation and can turn a wrench there shouldn't be problems.

Motorworks West in Wyckoff NJ has an alignment machine that can duplicate a dealer's work. Have always had good work done there - they installed all of my Dinan upgrades and do virtually all the 3rd party work I have done.

I checked with Firestore stores (in NH/MA area) and they say that they don't align BMWs.

I have this lifetime deal too and love it. They use the latest Hunter machine I believe. I would just try going to Firestone and try to get the deal if not too far away.

I have bought Lifetime Alignments from Firestone on all 3 of our vehicles. The passat has 203K on it, and the S60 has about 105K. Couldn't be happier!

Got my alignment done last week Thursday. My car feels much better, but not great. My steering wheel is a bit off center and the car pulls right slightly. I went to this alignment shop mainly because they have the new Hunter Hawkeye Elite alignment machine, and my buddy vouched for them doing a great alignment on his 1984 635csi. I will be going back to see if they can get it 100%

Below is my print out, do you guys see anything out of place?

I just got the same machine at my shop. Make sure they reset the steering angle Sensor when they were finished it is critical on these cars.
