AS - Wheel Alignment ?
Hello All,
I have searched, but could not get a definitive answer so I am coming to the experts here at the forum for an answer. Do you have to get your alignment done at a BMW Dealership if you have Active Steering? I have seen posts that say yes and others that say no. What is the general consensus here?

yes you do as it will probably throw AS error on your dash
basically your AS sensor needs to be calibrated to a new wheel's position after alignment
its free of charge if car is under warranty and will cost 1-2H of labor if not

Finally got the car aligned on Saturday. Not by the dealership, but by an Indy that has worked on all my cars. He was afamiliar with the car and the AS and was comfortable aligning it as he has done this before. He confirmed my suspicion of the passenger rear being "out of spec" camber wise. How does this alignment sheet look. I compared to a few others I found while searching and they seem to be spot on. He mentioned the front was within spec and did not make any changes. What are your thoughts? Oh, and no AS Errors.
