My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

WHAAT? Bruno was fucking hilarious! I guess it takes different strokes to run the world. "The hottest show in any german speaking country, outside of germany"

No, I wouldn't make fun of anyone (except the above Miss world crack). I really really still don't understand (for the life of me) what it is you do for a living. Is it just me that doesn't get it? I've been a contractor for the last 12 years but if someone asks me what I do I tell them I'm a software engineer (which is my profession). I rarely have to mention that I'm employed in a contractor capacity - it doesn't usually come up. If you want to keep your job secret I can dig that.

I can understand your confusion, these days there are so many different types of contractors. I have been a contractor before (Network Design and Integration also as Project Manager - I am a PMP - for IT projects), so the term is rather loose.

To sIck60:
I don't think anyone here would make fun of you no matter what you did for a living (after all this is a car forum, not a careers site), simply because whatever it is you do you have obviously achieved enough success to have gotten yourself an E60. Which is what we are all her to enjoy anyway. NOW POST SOME MORE DAMN PICS!!!

Instead of having a forum dedicated to chat, we should have a "talk thread" that's stickied in this forum. That way, conversations that happened in this thread, and a million other threads that went off topic, could be contained into one thread. It works well on alot of the other forums I visit.
