I think I have 2, first is

Dynamic drive, it really works and makes this car handle like something half it's size.

Second is

Heated Steering Wheel, it's probably was the least essential thing on my car when I ordered but I seem to have it on all the time, it's just great

SA answer would be THE ACCELERATOR.

But then there's the HUD screen that is an absolute pleasure, especially with the NAV in use. The cruise info is also helpful and may prevent me from activating cruise in a 50 MPH zone when cruise is set on 80 -- big OOPS!

And the SMG keeps getting better, or is it me?

And after suffering through cup holders for 7-8 years with the '97 540-6, I am absolutely ecstatic over these. I do not understand those who find them inadequate. They can securely accommodate a variety of drink containers.

I can't pick just one but if I had to, I'm thinking Active Steering.

(I do love the heated wheel -- had one on my '98 but it wasn't available on my '01 -- it's nice to have it back again!)

if given the choice, i have to hand it to HUD/NAV/voice package.
driver assist options like AS, PDC, dynamic drive etc can live without, i am a very manuel type of driver and love basic controls and road feel, no bells and whistles. let it grip/oversteer, more the better. that's why i drive a bmw. my 2?.

since i don't have too many options, i'll go for the gadget factor.
i like the adaptive xenons more than i imagined.
the cruise control markers and engine speed indicators that move on the side of the tech is really cool.
i am also liking the instant pop up trunk, very handy while loading thetrunk when my hands are full.

Voice control - I love this and have really started using it all the time. I like not having to take my eyes off the road.

Logic 7 - The sound is incredible
