I actually have 50,090 miles on my car. But I called my SA before I crossed the 50,000 and told him about the situation. I spoke with him today and he said it wouldn't be a problem to document it before the 50,000 miles. If this is a standard warranty replacement then he will definitely take care of it, but if some people get it under warranty and some don't then I'll just have to wait and find out. I also have a CPO warranty and extended maintenance even though that doesn't matter under this situation.

Well I got the call today, my SA said that there was misuse to the flywheel. But since I have only had the car for a few thousand miles he believes that I did not cause the damage. I was going to call the dealership I originally bought the car from, but instead he said don't worry about it and took care of it. What a great dealership.

That's good news. Feel free to post the name of the dealership -- it's nice to be able to sort the good ones from the bad ones...

That is great news. It sounds like you have a customer oriented Service Advisor. Good luck with the car.

Thanks for the luck, with this model I feel like I need it. Devon Hill BMW outside of Philadelphia, now I only wish this was my permanent residence, so I could always go to them.
