Wow that IS dark! Maybe in NC it's really sunny all the time, and you don't drive at night. I agree with bobr2001. Here in cloudy Portland, I'd go get it removed and re-tinted now - even if you get a fix it ticket, time is $$$, why the hell waste time at court just to show you fixed it...

most people here in charlotte tint their cars the way I have my car tinted. also I dont think a cop would pull me over just for tint am just ganna leave like its and pray I dont get pulled over lol

I grew up in Charlotte had several friends pulled over just for tint... and they certainly didn't have 5% on top of 35%. I'd be surprised if you make it 6 months before that happens.

btw- most people in Charlotte do not tint their cars even 5%, much less tint on top of tint. I doubt even a tint friendly state inspection shop would pass your car.

I just hope not to be pulled over but I really dont care since I still have my 35% tint on. and for the inspection I know some guys who can take care of it

yes I do and my point was that if i get pulled over the only thing I have to do is to remove the 5% tint then Ill be having my 35% on so that means I wouldnt lose anything since I paid nothing for the 5% tint

Gotcha, I'm surprised that the top layer of tint could be pulled off the bottom layer after drying without screwing both of them up.

a tint expert said that he could pull off the top layer without screwing the bottom layer but as I said i dont care i paid nothing for the top layer and i was going to remove the old layer. if the bottom layer get screwed ill be fine coz am planning to sell the car in future to get the F10
