I have auto folding mirrors. When I return to the car and unfold the mirrors the dirver side mirror is never in the right place.
Is this just something I have to live with or is it fixable?

This is a problem even without the folding mirror feature. Doesn't matter which side the slide switch is positioned in. Only happens about twice a month in my case.

Thanks for the feedback - I dreaded doing a search on "mirror"
What seems weird here is everyone is talking about the passenger mirror where mine is the driver side. Time for some experimenting I guess. I'll start with the seat position setting.
My car is in CPO warranty now so some things like this I don't expect to be covered for a mirror replacement.

^if it happens every time you retract the mirrors, you might have a different issue. That thread above is generally related to the passenger side mirror loosing the position setting on an infrequent basis. If your situation is repeatable and can be reproduced (and on the drivers side) I'd look into a warranty claim.

I too had the dreaded passenger mirror creep but rarely used the folding mirror option. As noted from the supplied thread the "Last seat Pos." can be deactivated and works like a charm. All you lose is the seat and mirror resets that can occur when you change key fobs.

thats an automatic feature for the passenger side mirror to dip when putting the car in R, simply move the mirror selector/controller on the driver side control panel to the driver side mirror position (left) to prevent this from happening
