I've just started tracking at fuelly.
530d in need of a service next week and I'm averaging 38ish.

I'm off to Ireland next week with the lads so expect that number to drop.

highway = 24.5
mixed driving = 19.5

2008 550i - speeds up to 120 for both

If I commute mostly in the city (4 days a week), I get about 19 mpg.

These days I am at 23.5 (the wife drives the car in rush hour highway commuting).

40MPG using plenty of welly and 46MPG driving a little bit more restrained in a 520d
