Only 220 miles on the odo and with a mix of city and highway I'm getting 16.6 mpg on my 535i... not so great, I'm wondering if I would see some improvement after the break-in period?

2007 530i manual -- premium gas --21.9 mpg -- mostly city driving, w/ less than 3 miles hwy driving each day.

My best readings I've got (according to OBC) have been 5,5l/100km --> 42.766mpg (US) --> 51.36mpg (UK).
And with a 500Nm of torque (that would be 368.7811 lb/ft) I think it's pretty well

Since i have put my exhaust on i find myself throwing it in sport mode, giving it a down shift and slamming the pedal to the floor. i honestly turn off my music to listen to the exhaust all the way too about 80 mph.
