What would you be willing to pay to go from 550 to M5?

Let's skip this discussion and talk about what mods you're gonna order tomorrow evening for the new beast.

If it was a stick, I'd say no.....SMG, no doubt!
My dealership has a black '08 M5 6-sp...has been on their lot since July of 2007. The driver's seat is actually worn from all of the test drives.

If you can sweat the $200 each month, I would say.............HELL YES!
My 550i has 11 months left on its lease. I talked very seriously with my dealer about a CPO M3 convert they had on their lot about 2 months ago, and the "buy out" or whatever you want to call it was insane. The number they gave me to "break the lease" was to return the car with $14k. I laughed in their face, told them I could keep it in my driveway for 12 months for $8,400 (I pay $706/month, and for 12 months, would owe $8,400 more on the lease) and then walked out. Not even worth asking how they got that number. $6k more than my lease, just to break it?
But, if they are treating you right, sounds like a great deal.
I want an Indianapolis red M5 baaaaaaaaaaaaadly.

Thanks for the replies. It sounds as though everyone here would be inclined to make the deal if the numbers work out. The test drive might have to wait due to the weather around here, but I'll keep you all posted. By the way, anyone with some free time on their hands and some Photoshop skills want to let me know what the 167s would look like on Indy Red?
