Personally , both . Once you have comfort seats it's impossible to not have them, the HUD is a great feature and I ordered because my short vision is starting to get "fuzzy"
+1

I would not compromise on either. when you are used to HUD you almost forget the dash and cannot drive without it..... but if there is no way of getting both, then the comfort seats would come as a priority.

Confort seats, as they are muc h more comfortable then the standard seats. plus, head up display is more of a fancy thing to show off with, The seats are for comfort. You use them on a daily basis
u really cant show it off, bacause only the driver sees it

comfort seats. i have hud but i wont be ordering in my new car - not really worth this much for the gadget...

comfort seats. You don't/can't really enjoy driving your car if you're not comfortable sitting in it...

X1000 on comfort seats. I had the earlier version in my 545i and thought those were the best but they've been improved even more in their latest iteration. I've driven up to 10+ hours and never been tired ... just change the settings the slightest bit and you're good to go.

As to HID. I think it's a giant wasted of $. YMMV

Had Comfort seats on my previous car, way better than the standard seats but the standard seats in my new LCI car are very very good. The active head restraint design seems to make a good deal of difference. I ony miss my old comfort seats because of the memory function, my partner actualy prefers the standard seats in the new car!

Get both. If you are patient and willing to search a bit farther afield you will find the combination you want. I wanted HUD and ventilated comfort seats and was able to find it used eventually.

my vote was for comfort seats.. i was lucky enough to buy mycar used with Both... but my HUD is always turned off and i havent used it once since i have to sit really high in my seat in order to see it and im 6'0. But comfort seats for sure if i had to choose 1 over the other.. HUD is nice to have i guess for me its better for the re-sale value.. 1 more extra you can talk about.

Why dont you raise the HUD, instead of keeping it off?

the HUD cant be adjusted with the touch of a button.. the only way iv'e read up on on (M5board) how to do it is by removing the idrive screen and using a screw driver to adjust it.. but ive heard it only adjust it about 1/2 inch so i just havent botherd to do it.. i can live without it but im still glad my car has it...
