Never heard of Nevada leather. I have Dakota. I'm not a fan of the Nasca leather. It's too soft for my tastes. Feels cheap and fake.
Leather's expense is directly proportional to its softness. The softer it feels, the more expensive it is (e.g. - Merino)

don't like the name but luv the leather - dakota. at first, i thought it was too rough but over time, i notice how well it held up to all the abuse compare to ultra soft leather.

way to go bmw!

BMW has Merino leather sheet 2.5-3 square meter for around $300ish. Anyone plan to replace the leather. I'm thinking about it, but not sure about labor cost. For the whole car, I might need at least 6 square meters.

I have the imitation leather in my 525i (leatherette), bought it used. My '05 Z4 has EVERY option including extended leather so I wonder what kind of leather is in that one?

It is the X6 that has Nevada Leather. Nappa is an option.

Over here we have our very own Irish leather.
In a nutshell the leather green but is always wet and soggy and if you say anything bad about it's mother the chair will jump up and punch you in the face.
Only messin'

BRV.
