Ok I have this sign that turns on when I start the car. I think this was because I had just installed the Sprintbooster earlier. Can someone tell me what this sign mean? And is it risky or dangerous to keep the car going with this sign on?

That should turn on and go away when you start the car. If it stays on all the time, then there is something wrong. They call it "Check Engine Light" ( it stays on when there is a fault stored in the cars computer).

Sorry, it should be engine is misfiring and this could cause damage to emission system components, refer to pg 233 of the manual. Should get it checked soon.

Before taking it to the dealer, take the sprint booster out and see if the light goes. If it does, you've either installed the sprint booster wrong (not sure if that's possible though), or it might be faulty.

russ please check my other post regarding my Sprintbooster installment, http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=46289

I'm pretty sure I've had it installed correctly even though sometimes after I plug the SB, the pedals dont work at all. After a few tries of plugging and unplugging it finally works.
