What is the Square in the rear Bumper

Came out from dinner tonight and noticed that there is a square in the rear bumber and that part that fits there is now missing.
What is that for and how do I get a replacement part, vehicle is 2010 M Sport 535.

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Its the tow hook or tie down hook cover. Its about $60 painted.

they dont just fall out. it must not have been installed properly after the voyage on the ship to the usa.
either that or someone else needed it and stole it.

Mine was gone one day, they are just friction fitted in. A big bump probably knocked it loose.

It snaps in. I installed mine after the body shop painted it.

The square in my front bumper was stolen I believe, in the first 2-3 weeks of driving the M-Type 525i Carbon Black. I think it was stolen when I was at a club in the center of Moscow and IM sure they mistaken it for a black BMW 
so the thieves should of been mad to find it doesnt match color. I bought the square and had my people paint it for me.
