My Ride: Sapphire black 545i with sports package, premium package, 6 speed manual, 20" Maya rims.

I have some rock chips on the front of my hood that go pretty deep (down to the primer) but not the metal. I would say there are about 6 or 7 chips in total. They're not very big, but since they are so deep you can definately see them if you look up close. I'm thinking about having my hood repainted, I know a really good body shop who can do it for a reasonable price, but some people have told me I should stick with original paint and use touch up paint instead and then do a cut polish/wax. Any suggestions on which way I should go?

Get it repainted and then get clear bra applied to it.

Try Langka, first.... before you go paying to have the hood painted.
