I learn so much here...I always know more than the dealer.

I was wondering whether BMW will offer retrofits for the 2 things that I missed (545 is on its way from germany)..

1} ipod connection
2} Mtech spoilers (dont need wheels or m steering wheel)

Appreciate any help.

AFAIK, the official BMW iPod connectors for the other cars required that you use the Cd Changer's connection to connect the iPod. As BMW have not said anything officially about it for the E60 I presume it'll work that same way when they do get around to releasing it. But as I said, they've not said anything official about it. It could come out or it could never come out. Maybe some other guys can clarify this later on.

Basically, if you have the CD changer, you can switch it with an iPod connection. You'd lose the CD Changer in the glove box. If you don't have a CD Changer, then you just need to wait for it and it'd probably be an easy retrofit.

IMO, just use iTrip. Instant gratification.

With regards to spoilers. As long as you can order them separately, I'm sure your dealer can easily install them for you.
