What new, non-BMW car would you lease/buy in the $50K range?

Infin M35/45
MB C's ( E's start right at 50k I think in the USA)
Audi S4 / TT S/S5 ( may be above the 52k cut off) , A4/A6/TT/A5
Nissan 350/70
Maybe Jag XF ( kinda new so verdict is still out)

Would have said the the 08/09 Mk V VW R32 but they lost the feeling of the MKIV's, and it's kinda a porker

My wife has a new Volvo XC70 wagon and while the outside looks a lot better than the old cross countries, it just isn't any fun to drive at all. The V6 has a terrible exhaust note and car is sluggish. I haven't driven the S80, but I can't imagine it would be much sportier or fun to drive.

I would get an Audi product.
