My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
what lights light with the daytime running option set on the 2008's?

DRLs set. Bright day so I know hard to make out. The inner most ring is on and the outer lamp on low. Sorry about the description but all this specific technical stuff is new to me. Hope it helps.

good question, i was curious too.
for lci 2008 model, only the "two rings" light up for daylight running light on each side?
it seems like the inner ring is very bright and
the angel eyes strictly serve as drl without turning on additional lightbulb, correct?
