yes. the only comment I got from a neighbour was,... you should have bought a Lexus. They are really great cars and the dealership is fantastic.

As for other comments, I get NONE. Nothing spectacular about this car I guess cause both previous cars E34 M5 and E39 535i both had wonderful comments. I recall in the E39 (with AC scnitzer bits) a guy who was alongside at a trafic light changed lanes, followed me home just to say it was a great looking car and colour. He just wanted to have a look at it. His jaw dropped when he saw the interior which was dark green. BMW did that for awhile then stopped it. Pity!!

a car that had endless thumbs up and comments was my Peugeot 106Gti. Everywhere I went, people would come and talk about it. Incredible for a small peanut sized 1.6 car.

cheers

sorry buddy... but that got me laughing. Never ever heard any mutt say that kind of a thing. Your neighbour must be the one whose head has a splashing sound.
It's ok. Everyone else has laughed at it too when I've told them about this incident.

I get a few comments and looks when I'm driving the Bimmer. There are alot of E60's around the Atlanta area and it seems like even more MB's.

I get way more attention when I drive my Camaro.

I usually get the jaw drop face from guys with "WOW usually girls drive Honda's or Jetta's". ....Then they realize that I'm not like every other girl haha
Then from those who appreciate cars say "There is nothing like a girl who drives a hot bmw"...

well there aren't many e60's around in my city, and definitley none that are really modded so I get lots of looks from people driving by mostly staring at my wheels and giving me a thumbs up. One time I had a man in his 50's driving behind me in a scooter and then he sped up beside me and told me roll down my window so that he could tell me how great my exhaust sounds.
