I get comments pretty much every place I go, nice car, oh he drives a BMW must be loaded etc etc...........coupled to the fact I look like im still mid 20's (I'm 36) I often also get the looks of how/why you driving a car like that, in this country its not common for a mid 20's guy to drive a car like this, unlike you college yanks with rich daddies

When I bought the car and had took it home, my (stupid) neighbour came to me and started to ask about the car...
He's an old guy and drives a diesel powered Skoda Octavia himself.

He asks how big is the engine in my car. 3 liters I reply. Then he tells me to shake my head and asks if I'm hearing any splashing?
I really had to think if I heard it right. Then I politely asked him to f*ck off .
Good to know that I am not the only BMW driver in Finland with complete asshats for neighbors!

Yeah... My other neighbours are cool though.
I think every neighbourhood needs/has one contrarian .

From kids my age, I know I get alot of hate. When I'm home from school, I'm constantly out and about, going to the store, or just cruising around the neighborhood, so a good chance of seeing the 456 that graduated with me not two years ago, and those below me. My friends love it, but I know the others talk.

But when driving, I know alot of people stop and look while at a stoplight, and sometimes they start to play with me (assuming that I'm the stereotypical cock BMW driver) but again, it's all good. I would say even the hateful ones admire it.

Hate those idiots who think they got something to prove! I usually take a little time to "hint" that they are really not gonna prove anything while I'm around

When you get remarks on the color do you tell them that it's not actually Sapphire black?

I don't have to. Carbon Black is really ultra dark blue.
