What interior trim design (2004 530i) is this?-imag0011.jpg

Hi All,

Simple question...can anyone tell me what design this is. It is the interior trim panel (across where the air vents are) in my 2004 530i. One of the fixing lugs has broken so it stands proud on one side. I would like to source a replacement and am hoping to find one cheaper than the BMW ?78 + VAT!

Apologies for the quality of the pics, they were taken on my phone (never a good use of a phone)!!

Thanks in advance.

It's not Alu-Cube. I'd say your best bet is to pop into a show room and just flick through the swatch samples they have there.

I would say that they are "basic" Titan -trims.

Try configuring a new BMW via their website. When configurating the new car, you get all the precise descriptions of the interior trims. Don't know if they apply to your 2004 530i, but the aluminium trim in your photos seems like the standard aluminium trim to me.

Sorry, now when looking at better monitor they surely are not basic Titan II trims...:-(

Great idea!

However the only option on the BMW site is brushed aluminium and it doesn't look like mine, it doesn't have the strange 'diamond' pattern on it.

Try doing a Z4. Sounds odd I know, but I'm sure I remember seeing this diamond patterned trim in one when I was last at my dealers.

that looks like the crappy plain brushed finish you get std on UK cars.

The textured alu finish (on Msport models) looks to me like it was stuck on by a boy racer. Wood or black finish wood looks best on these cars. Thats not to say a less 'chunky' version of the Msport trim wouldnt look good on the right car
