I see the description on page 65 now just not the icon. Either way my question was answered.

It's been on the 5'ers at least since the E24. I can't remember if my E12 had it but I don't think so. It's a nice feature to remind you of possible freezing overpasses especially on long road trips when you may not realize the temperature outside has dropped.
