In theory that can esaily be arranged, but the current BMW's don't have that OEM function, yet.

But you can order a car heater (Webasto or Ebersp?cher) to your car that can be
activated by a SMS message.

Hey Ric, I asked my SC about the heater but they looked at me like I was speaking yiddish. DO you know where I could get it or around how much it costs. I just got off of their website but they don't post any prices..

I believe they were imitating Onstar, which is used by american cars, GM, Chevy, Caddy.

Hey Tonymac,

I suppose you have to send a email or give them a call.

Both Webasto and Ebersp?cher are German companies!

They are not cheap, around 3,000 Euros including installation, I believe.

I have the Defa Warm Up system, that is a electric plug in system.

They were talking to BMW Assist. But since it's a movie, things work different than in real life.
IRL, they can't start the engine for you, but can send help, which she first offered...

You do know you can time your air conditioning right? But I guess SMS would be cooler still. Lol. And setting the time is a hassle and you don't know when to turn it on if you don't know how long you will be gone.
