Looks good. Thanks.
I think I'm sticking with the light poplar and the beige ventilated seats...![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

I'm going through the same process as well. My current car (Alpine White) has gray leather with dark poplar and it blends in fine. My new car is going to to be white with the beige leather (ventilated seats) so I'm thinking the light poplar will work better than the dark.
Anyone else have opinions or pics?

For what it's worth:
I took delivery of my 535i Monday of this week.
Due to a CA error, the car was ordered with light poplar. The car has creme beige leather.
Both light and dark poplar look good in the car. My preference, however, is for dark poplar with creme beige. That combination looks richer to me.

Hormazd,
I thought I had it figured out but this thread has me guessing again. To refresh your memory I ordered a 2008 528i, titanium silver, with natural brown interior. Any comments which I should go for the light or dark poplar. The natural brown is not very dark.
Thanks all

Okay, I need a few other thoughts from those on the forum.
I have ordered my 2008 535i Monaco Blue, Beige Dakota leather, with Light Poplar wood trim. However, now I am wondering if it would look better with Dark Poplar?!?
Has anyone an opinion one way or another?
Thanks much,
Paul

I think the part that makes it difficult to decide is the fact that the top part of the dashboard is dark, no matter what color interior you choose.
I'm still trying to figure out if I want a stark contrast between the top of the dash and the wood or if I'd rather have more of a blended contrast where the darker wood might blend in better with the dash.
I think it's clear that in my case with the beige ventilated seats the light poplar will look nice but will it look silly next to the dark dash?
