You don't say where you are, and weather plays a critical role in how any "replica" wheels age. I just dumpstered a set of 17x7.5 M-series replicas from my old 540iS that had seen 6 winters and whose finish was completely shot-- 2 years ago. If you baby them, they may last, but I'm automatically suspicious of replica coatings, no matter what they tell you.

Looks like a good deal to me. BUT wheels that fit the E39 bodystyle will NOT fit the E60 without spacers to keep them hub-centric.

Has anybody not had trouble when using spacers?

yeah guys, something about them is a little "off" from the real classic 2s... not sure exactly what though... replicas from what I understand run the gamut... some are really good, and others are terrible (soft and bend easily).

Still trying to figure out why they don't look like the real ones... anyone have an eye to tell?

MMAfia

here's a comparo of the real vs the replicas...

Looks like the replicas do not 'concave' in as much as the real one... and the spokes are more flush with the lip on the real ones... finally, the finish is different and not as reflective on the reals.

If they are replicas, then I wouldn't buy them.
