Hi all.

I found a CPO 2004 545i with the following options: automatic, navigation, moonroof, self-dimming mirrors, premium sound, dark wood trim, satellite radio preparation, xenon headlights, voice activation and park distance control. There is No Sports Package. It is Titanium Gray with Black Interior. The car has 26,500 miles. It is a CPO from a BMW Dealer. The price is $43,000. Any opinions on this car, options, etc..? And, of course, are there any opinions on the price? Thank you very much.

Not the best deal if you ask me. Check out my sig and you'll see the options I got. I bought it with 17k miles on it and got it for $44k. It is not CPO but I think the cold weather and sports package are worth more. Just my 2 cents...

Is that price included with Tax and Registration? Here was my experience. I purchased a 04' 530i about five months ago at a BMW dealer. It came with 18K miles and I love it so far. My purchase price OTD was $43,000. Keep in mind the CPO car comes with an extended warranty up to 7yr/100k miles. However, if you do decide to buy it and want to get the extended maintence warranty to 7yr/100K, do not pay more than $1295....negotiate to $1100 if you can. I would of love to have parking sensor and satellite radio, unfortunately it was not included. Make sure the satellite radio is there or is pre-wired for it. If not, it is currently impossible to have it installed to work with the idrive system...I tired. I know that for the price, near new condition and options listed, it was a killer deal for me. Good luck and let us know what you decided.

I agree with Trizzo, at KBB.com you came out as $42.7 which is a great price. I would be interested in a poll of 530 with sport vs. a 545 without. I just bought my super clean 530 sprt/prem 04 a few days ago not CPO for $42.5 in orient blue with 18k mileage. Personally I had to have the sport, but I have always driven a 6 cylinder from BMW and felt the look of the sport pack was manditory. That does sound like a good deal to me especially as a CPO.

What are the rims on an 04 545 w/out Sport sounds to me like a great deal with Prem sound, Nav & the bigger engine. What is the build date on it? I'm new but I would want to have Bluetooth available, if new rims 18" could be had as a switcherou for $1500 or less w/run flats I would jump on it Do you have a pic or anyone else I'm new and would be interested in knowing what the 545 w/out look like. Depends also on politico age and vanity, to me the sprt pack was an absloute. If I was ten years older I would at the same exact price point(which was mine) opted for the 545,Nav,prem Sound, CPO which on paper is a better deal than mine. I say it sounds like a great/outstading deal if the car's looks you feel good about. I had the choice of CPO w/26.5 miles & my 18k miles w/out CPO & I went w/lower miles by the way, but primarily due to the fine tooth comb of each car and knowing the type of original driver had procured it. Mine had am intangible newness of scratchless rims, ow speed and non-blemished interior.

Here is a picture of the car. I will find out the build date.

Problem is, thought it's nice, it's pretty much an oridinary car. The miles aren't so great, and the lack fo the sprot package really hurts, especially at resale time. The prices of these cars vary widely, but I'd spend more and get the sport (nav doesn't matter to me, it's useless), and maybe a few clicks less on the odo. Just my .02.

According to KBB the difference between identical 04 545's with Sport/Non Sport is only $1050. Priced the trade in value for two identical 04 545's @ 25,000 miles, sport was 42350 trade in value and NS was 41300 trade in value.

Don't buy it without the sports package. That is what sets the vehicle apart from anything else. Period!
