options/packages? how's the carfax history or car history?

Did you do a KBB price check?

CPO'd BMW or private party sale?

Your location? the car's location?

all the above info is needed and is that price the asking price or the negotiated price?

if its a 2004 i dont recommend it as it has its issues. search for more info, aslo is it a c.p.o? (certified pre-owned) cause anything over 50,000 miles has NO warranty at all. these cars are very expensive to repair so you want to make sure you're covered...

price is good considering the car's specs... HOWEVER, you have NO WARRANTY... AT ALL

if anything goes wrong, and chances are it will you will have to pay for any and all repairs... mechanical or electrical.

remember, these cars are rolling computers systems. they "hiccup" every once in a while and have to be sent to the dealer for repairs/upgrades... dealers charge about $120 minimum an hour for pretty much anything...

you should carefully consider another car that has original FULL BMW warranty (car with less than 50,000 miles) or is at least a C.P.O. (100,000 mile coverage is a great peace of mind in my opinion). you might pay a tad more upfront but it might pay off if something was to go wrong...

just my .02 cents

+1, tough call when the car is out of warranty and you have no personal experience/history with the car. Even if the Carfax is clean, just means nothing was reported....GL
