FYI, when we had the socal SLO meet, I drove to SLO and up to NorCal and when I got home and cleaned up my bumper, it looked like someone ran light sandpaper across the front bumper. I would have taped it to hell if I knew that was going to happen to prevent that any day.
I spent $18 for 3 rolls....better that $$$ for respraying the bumper and hood. Thanks guys I feel better now.... ...so along the way if any of you guys see me on the road just flash your lights.....hahahahah

How long did that take you??

I bet that you were planning to keep it on before asking anyway. The dedication and time you put into it, it'll be silly to just rip it off!
Took me like 1.5 hours....

I have another idea. Stay in NJ and avoid having to ride down to Florida with tape on.

As an alternative, consider using a clear protective shield that Griot's Garage sells by the foot: Griot's Shield

You are liable to have a car photographer take pictures of it thinking it is a new model in disguise.LOL

The only thing I would really worry about would be how the tape is resistant to uv and heat. Some of these tapes are sensitive and become fused to the paint. I have no idea how this tape would react but I think a few phone calls to 3M could be a good idea.
I remember the older tapes that would actually harden on window glass while painting and the tape removal was worse that the paint.
