I am looking for ideas to carry / attach the new electronic key.
I simply keep it in small right front pocket in my jeans. I don't put key fob on my key chain since it is too bulky.

Mine's on the standard Alpina keyfob. Those little leather pouches are a sensible idea (if a tad "manbag"), but I've never seen one available through a UK dealer...

I agree. I have a keychain with lots of keys but I carry the BMW fob seperately by itself. No scratching the steering colum and no noise from any dangling keys while driving.

Seems that BMW has not solved this small problem yet.

A neat OEM leather bag is needed!

Anyone with Comfort Access?

Since I have comfort access I keep mine in my pocket and prefer not to attach any keys or key fob to it. I did stumble across a soft leather key remote case at a local Ford dealer that fits the remote perfectly. It protects the remote and still allows access to all the buttons. Check it out at www.remotetotes.com. I went with the large size and removed the riveted key ring.
