1. Hate runflat tires makes the ride quality aweful.
2. dash looks outdated comparied to the E90 3-series. Climate controls should be Digital displays.
3. leather to hard, needs to be softer ALA E39 5 series models.

1. With you on that one but I don't blame the car.
2. dash needs to be more ergonomic. <--- my #1 complaint. Make it driver centric.
3. NASCA leather in E60 is softer than my E39. Can't compare standard leather on E60.

My car locks after a certain speed and then unlocks as I take the key fob out after turning off the engine. The interior lights come on at the same time as the car unlocks. The only time I have to pull the handle twice is if I'm leaving the key fob in the ignition to get out briefly while others are still in the car.

I set it via the i-drive Not like my last 2 Audis which had to be set by the dealer
dawi - I have Comfort Access and do not put the key in the ignition. When I stop the car by pushing the button, the doors do not unlock. I have to pull the handle twice. If I have to put the key in the ignition, it defeats the purpose of having the Comfort Access option.

The paint (actually, I think it's the clear coat) scratches way too easily. I noticed a dirt mark on the back bumper and instinctively rubbed it with my finger tip and the dirt went away, but now I have a couple of scratches caused by rubbing it. Should've hauled out Griot's Speed Shine and a microfiber cloth.

Also, the stale odor when you turn on the AC.

I hate not having the option of a CD changer, or better yet a standard changer in-dash instead of single disk. Ipods aren't for everyone or even for every situation when you have one.

Seats. In whatever seats i sat on.... Sport seats in my E60 are a massive dissapointment. I wonder what do they find sporty in it?!
Same here. I should have gotten comfort seat instead. And HUD (was not available at the time).

Oh, that's a bummer stanatl - nice to have the comfort access though I bet Does the car unlock if you hit the start/stop button twice ie. once to cut the engine and then once more?

Hi guys,

I am happy with my e60.Still can suggest some areas of improvement.

1.Those seat adjustments can be elevated to a more convenient position some where close to the door side handles.

2.Isnt it time BMW consider a panoramic roof that covers even the rear?

3.The head rest adjustments for the rear should be automatic.

4.The horn requires a real hard push( may be i m weak)

5.Those front cup holders can have a better finish, may be with a flash of chrome.

6.The dials can be in a whiter shade which would look better.

7.The dash and steering can be part of the interior theme. As such they are black in all cases.

these are just in the wish list.i happy even without.

cheers
jay

The fact that I practically don't drive it except at weekends comes tops.

Real gripes:
Slow iDrive
Transmission (slam, slow pick-up from a standstill)

Minor stuff:
Interior oddment space could be better
Lack of backlighting of the wing mirror close button (I park on the street, and finding the blipping button in the dark is fiddly)

Can't you get your keys programmed to do this for you upon lock?

As for IDrive, I use Extended Voice Control for direct access. Seems just peachy.

Slow pickup from a standstill seems to be wheelspin in my case!

You must have better accelerator response than I, then...
