Yeah, I suppose I could resort to deleting the phone in iDrive, then re-pairing everything...but I am puzzled by this.
Took car to the GOOD local wash to have a quick handwashing done. I watched as the guys climbed around inside wiping off everything, etc. When I got back in, my Blackberry didn't ask me to accept the connection with "BMW1234" - at which point I would accept and that's that.
The iDrive shows the phone is still there, the phone shows the car is a "found" device...and when I try to connect through the Blackberry's menu (e.g. connect to BMW1234)...it says "conneciton failed".
Just thought I'd ask as I wonder if it's just a matter of the car wash guy pressing something that could have affected this?
As I said, I'll just delete and start over if need-be, but thought I'd ask first as it's a curious thing.
Thanks.

I think it's simpler to re-pair the connection between the car and the phone. Once that's working, did you know you can have it set (on the B
where it won't ask you permission to pair each and every time you get in the car?

Thanks.
I just went ahead and deleted the BB from the iDrive and BB...then re-paired. No problem now.
I found it bizarre that things just lost-it right after the car-wiper kid was inside. No biggie, just thought maybe there was some kind of widget/button that could be tripped hidden somewhere...thanks for caring!

My car sometimes drops my iPhone where I have to reconnect... I think that has happened like once.
Sometimes it takes extra long or just didn't want to connect so I have to either cycle the BT on the phone or switch the order in the I drive and it'll force it to connect again.
