I went over this with my dealer (SA & techs) and they recommended 36psi all around. They said the tires would last longer and ride fine.

Yes, 18" dunlap run flats, and I don't know. Maybe someone else can help.

From what I gathered from the manual, it recommends 29/36. The techs said the the 29 is good for hard cornering/driving. Daily driving at 36 all around and the tires will last longer.

I thot more like 6.89

32 x 6.89 = 220
36 = 250

Oops = kPa, same as chart on door jamb

Added for conversion help:

Conversion of Pressure Units to Atmospheres

ATMOSPHERE 1 atm = 1 atm
mm of Hg (torr) 1 atm= 760 torr

Pounds per square inch
1 atm = 14.696 lb/in2

Newton per square meter (Pascal) 1 atm = 101325 Pa
kilopascal 1 atm = 101.325 kPa

bar 1 atm = 1.01325 bar
mbar 1 atm = 1013.25 mbar

Inches of Hg 1 atm = 29.92 Inches of Hg

But the manual suggests a higher pressure for the rear?? Why is that?

Maybe because the rear is where most of the extra weight is added like two to three passengers versus one or two and of course a trunk full of your goodies.

But I always drive alone.. So that should mean I would at least have a 50:50 pressure on the tires.

I guess that would make a better case for the same pressure. Are your tires the same size front and rear? Also, it could be a handling thing since the rear wheels drive the car. Bottom line is -- I don't know. Bet you had figured that out already.
