What is this connector in my 2006 E60?

I just noticed a 2-wire cable sticking out from under the rear passanger seat. It has a connector on it and a black lettering on white label attached reading "Batteriehaupschalter".
Anyone know what this is? This is a factory car, no aftermarket mods of any type have been applied. I am the only owner.

My bet would be that it is part of the battery disconnect harness that is used during shipping of the vehicles. It is typically tucked under the back seat after PDI.

Thanks for the info. I really did a search on the GERMAN term in my post, but my spelling seems to be different or for some reason it didn't find the thread where this was discussed. I will just stuff it up under the seat and forget about it.
