My wife has been gone to a nursing convetion in DC since thursday and came back this evening. She had a '07 335i coupe (montego blue/gray/gray Wood). My vehicle rep called me friday and told me that my next car was here and that i could turn it in early this morning if i wanted to. So last night, i vaccumed the coupe out and clean the wheels and took it through an auto car wash this morning before my appointment, everything going good. My rep knew this coupe only had around 4500 miles, and agreed to let me turn it in early instead of after 8,000 miles. So i had a feeling something wasnt right, and i was RIGHT. When i had order the coupe for my spouse, my rep ordered two cars at one time and messed up the 2nd order. I got the 2nd order this morning and it wasnt suppose to be here till march. Well i had orginally ordered a 335i sedan - crimson red/black. Then my rep said she didnt think they were sending me that color. Okay ... sooo i got a 335i sedan - artic / gray leather / LIGHT wood .. looks ugly with the gray leather. Im not complaining, just upset cause i didnt get what we ordered.



Anyways .. i took a few this pics this morning.






Im calling my rep monday to order my spouse a 5. I have had it in Alpine White / Jet Black and PLantium Gray. What do you guys think would be a good color for her? BTW .. my rep also told me that my Deep Green / Natural Brown 528i sedan isnt coming as the color i ordered EITHER!! UGGH!!

Haha .. i know .. but u i just got lucky enough to turn my spouse car in early. I still have my 535 and will have it till early march!! The only bad thing is my rep cant seem to order the right colors !!!

 

I made a mistake on my car - didnt realise till i picked it up. Wanted a car with black wood interior, and got dark brown. (Whatever the real names are i dont recall). Anyway, a happy accident as it looks better! I had the wood names mixed up.

If you are getting what you didnt order, and its the dealer fault, and you can stand the delay, dont accept it! Get them to order the car you wanted.

I think you wanted Bamboo(It is Black), but you got Dark Poplar!
There are only 3-trims for US : Light Poplar, Dark Poplar and Bamboo.
In addition there are Dark gray and Silver trims in Euro, we may custom order these too.?

 

Having had some bad experiences trying to pick a color for wife's vehicle, I know I would let wife chose the color, you make "suggestions" but make sure it's her choice in the end or you may come to regret it.

 

Your BMW rep seems to make a lot of mistakes. She better be nice looking
