My Ride: 2005 525i Titanium Silver Metalic and 2003 325xi Jet Black with the Premium Package in both cars.
It looks like silver gray to me, my 05 e60 is Titanium Silver Metalic which is lighter in color than the photo presented here.

titanium silver is way more "BMW" and catching to your eyes. Silver gray looks blue in many lights. I considered it but just doesn't have the "sizzle" of Titanium silver

I would bet money the color is silver grey. But never decide on a color from a picture. While I don't mean to upset my breathern who own silver grey cars (color is subjective, the car is paramount), the silver grey looks fabulous in the publicity photos. And in full sunlight, the color (IMHO) is impressive. But in moonlight, I prefer the lighter titanium silver color. Plus the lighter color handles dirt better (needs less washing). I am LAZY -- I admit it.
Titanium Silver, IMHOO (In My Highly Opinionated Opinion), looks fantastic even in the rain!
As others have already noted here -- Don't judge a paint job by it's picture, visit a dealership and see the cars up close.
Cheers,
