Hi,

Does any E60 owner in Bay Area know what CIP is available in the Bay Area, specifically, Stevens Creek BMW?

Thanks.

I recently had my car in for service at Stevens Creek BMW and they updated the software to CIP 13.3

As far as I know that is still what they are using

Thanks, jkava.
I am going to have my car in next two weeks for fixing throttle response, and only CIP 15 fix the problem. Yuck!

I'd recommend that you check with your dealer. Even if Stevens Creek BMW is your dealer, I would double check -- the version they installed yesterday isn't always the version they're installing today...

East Bay BMW has v 15 (.1 I believe). SCBMW has always lagged on S/W IMO, as does Allison (BMW of Mountain View)

I had my 545 in at Stevens Creek BMW just a week or two ago and they told me I was getting V15 (I had to wait until they got the latest version) to fix a cold start and idle issue. If anyone can let me know how to check the software version I can run outside, check it and post the results.
cheers

Alright, ignore that request. Just did a search and discovered that there doesn't seem to be any way to find out the version other than by talking to your SA. From what they told me I think I have V15!
