[/quote]I have the same in my US spec 545i. My square headed kids might use the outlets to charge their video games. I am a smoker who never smokes in his car.

Hi,
This seems to be an interesting issue.
BMW5320 thinks that UK cars come with a blank plate, but Merv the Derv has just taken delivery of a UK spec car with two blanked holes.
I am not a smoker and would happily castrate anyone who were to smoke in my car, but I would like to have a plain panel (except for the seat heater switches) on the back of the centre console.
It sounds very much as though I will get what I am given and have to hope that it doesn't have the blanking plugs.
Regards

I don't have a blank plate in mine. I have a storage area instead. Posted a pic here to show it last year but can't find it at present.
