OK - I think I figured out everything on my car, but there is one button that I haveno idea what it does. On the high beam stalk there are two buttons on the side. The top one activates the check control. What does the bottom one do?

Right, it toggles among some of the on-board info.

it allows you to view OBC info within the dash cluster -

(1) blank
(2) average speed
(3) average consumption
(4) range

dont worry - go ahead & try - it's not the EJECTION button

You know on my way to work this AM I was wondering if I could change the average mph display. I was not even sure how it got there. Now I know.
BTW, I am no longer going to push a button over and over - My car taught me a lesson about that the first night. The car ejected me! Just kidding - but it did create a radio issue.

I appreciate everyone's help.

You are very welcome for what I contributed. Oh, and by holding in on the bottom button, with the display set correctly, you can reset your on-board info on ave mph and ave mpg.

Thanks again.
And BTW - I went to the parking lot - got the manual out of the car and looked through it for 5 minutes before I asked for help here. You guys answered the question in less time than that.

You are welcome. We read the manual. Not really, but I, for one, have read some parts--those that seem most "critical" to "everyday" functioning. Hey, but, whatever, I am glad to help if I happen to know something.
