I love my car but sometimes BMW can really rip us off. From overpriced options, to warrantee exclusions to BMWFS policies. To me it has to be the anthricite headliner option where they charge $500 more if you want your headliner to be black. I have spoken with people who have toured the factory that said there are two rolls of headliner material sitting next to eachother on the assembly line so there is no difference in labor at all. The material is the same. It's just a chance for them to make some extra $$ on us. In your opinions, what is the biggest BMW ripoff??

I think they should install better stereo systems than the Logic 7. It might sound good compared to other OEM systems, but it still is not good enough for me.

Oh.... and the Navigation is pretty bad.... in that you can't search for POI by name. I still can't believe they don't have this most basic feature.

Angry

Comfort access $1000!, NAV, Anth headliner, Premium package-this should be standard for vehicle over $50K. Don't get me going, I am trying to feel better about the car I ordered and still waiting for...I hope my dealer throws in the floor mats for free. They got at $3000 over wholesale.

I agree that searching by name may be useful.

I don't find searching from location or destination too onerous though. Not had a problem with a restaurant, park or fuel stop.

WTF -- I really need to start using it. Sounds like the new NAV is a huge step backwards from the MkII/MkIII Nav's in earlier models.

FYI. Comfort Access is a paid option on the 760li. For that kind of money there should be no options.
