For me the best technology I like really in E60 is >> Active Roll Suspention
I don't have it on my car but I feel it's really good for handling

 

Tough choice but Active Steering is probably the winner for me. SMG is running a close second though...

 

I-Dirve - it rocks. I just don't get those people who can't figure it out. I suppose they are the same people who can't set the time on there VCRs or Microwaves.

Second place would have to go to Adaptive Headlights - if just for the ability to mess with those people who get in the fast lane and go 5miles under the speedlimit.

 

The 545i V8 engine.

Smooth, abundant power from a very sophisticated power plant with reasonable mileage.

 

For me it's the combination of the steptronic gearbox and the 530d engine - smooth, effortless acceleration.

 

Active Steering for me.

 

I have a few :

First - Active Steering
Second - Active Roll Stabilization
Third - Steptronic
Fourth - Adaptive head lights

 

The V8, hands down. Seamless power; 35mpg on the highway; and the car's barely broken in.
