This is very strange but, the 6 disk changer (flimsy peice of junk ) is not playing my homemade audio cd's. It doesn't even recognize that there is a cd in the changer. It will play store bought ones and also burned cd'd from like a year ago that I burned and have no idea what software I was using then. But, if I use Roxio 6 or Nero it is not working. If I put the same cd in the in dash it does work (but, doesn't show song name.....but, that is a whole other issue!!!!!!) Any idea's why it can't read my burned cd's? Is it maybe the settings I'm buring with??? I have no idea and frankly I'm getting very frusterated .
Did you burn CD R or CD RW. It is possible that the in car player will only recognise CD R. Good luck

Yes, Cobradav. I'm burning a regular audio. I have burned Mp3 using Roxio and it works perfect in dash. Just not the audio cd's?

Our posts crossed so I didn't see this. If the disc plays in the dash, but not the cd changer the cd changer is at fault - it can't be anything you are doing in the burning.

ok, excuse the ignorance but, what is toast and jam???? And it did work in my in dash player.
Toast and Jam are the best software tools for writing multimedia cds, http://www.roxio.com/en/products/toa...am/index.jhtml

...if they did work in your cd player, perhaps you put them in the changer the wrong way? i did the first time

You would think, right???? But, then why the hell does it play cd's that I burned a year ago (I don't know what software I was using back then).

I definetly thought that too so I played around with it and realized they are in right because my store bought cd's are playing and my older burned cd's are working.
