My Ride: 545i Sport Package, Black/Grey. Got it July 09.
Model Year: 2004
i used to have this problem too when my battery was goin bad... ever since i replaced it, it havent gotten the problem...
btw, do you always get the messages? cuz mine was intermittent... which could be a good indication that the battery's bad...
a little off topic, but how do you check the software version? what's the most current?

My Ride: Orient blue '05 545i, Sport/Premium Pkg, 6Speed MT, Xenon, Navi, Blue2th, PDC,
Do you have active steering and\or dynamic drive? Check the level of power steering fluid.
I had that problem in my 545i. It was below the limit and that triggered the errors.

Check your battery connection. Had similar issue after some work i did. My battery's ground or positive......I believe positive was tight but not tight enough. Problem came on every few days. I tightened the battery and problem went away a few mins later and never came back. Check you battery connections first. Of course if you didn't touch the battery, chances are narrow for it to loosen itself but you never know. Worth a shot.
