It holds a bottle of Pepcid Complete in case I happen to get heartburn when I'm not home.

I think you're misunderstanding what we're saying. I'm pretty sure all cars have that little door in the trunk. The difference is what, if anything, is behind it...
Not really Rudy. If you remember my car did not have this trim piece, both sides were kinnda the same which allowed me to DIY a parcel net on the Left like you have on the Right. http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...st&p=446852

Also I don't think this trim is installed just because you have Logic 7 because the amp does not utilise the space this trim piece creates. This trim piece allows for other modules to be installed, like Digital Radio, Video, DVD etc. I changed my trim to this to install my aftermarket amp, its a great location to keep any electronics cool because of the wheel flaps.

I agree that this trim piece is present so that other modules can be installed but I don't understand how it relates to the Logic 7 amp. The L7 amp (as well as the standard amp) is not installed in the vicinity of this little access door. Instead, the amps are installed behind the panel just above the left rear wheel arch...

I keep a couple bottles of Meguiar's Quick Detailer spray in that space.. it's just a space holder.

You can also hide a piece in there in case you have to "pop the trunk on some fools."
