Digital display on the iDrive screen for the temp controls just like on the E65/66
7- series models. Having to look at small pre writen numbers that sometimes are obscured by the nobs looks like something from the early 90's like on the E34 models. that worked fine back then but not in todays world of having to pay more attention to the road then some small numbers around the dials. also wish that the E60 models had the airvents also on the B-Pillars like on the E65 and the current Mercedes Benz Models E500 and the new A6.

-Faster iDrive response time.
-Integrated iPod controls within the iDrive.
-Touch screen Nav, along with the puck.
-LED tail lamps.
-More wood options with more inlays on the doors, like the E39.
-Backup camera.

1. Better Nav like Honda and Toyota
2. No gap between wood trim and air vent. Looks disgusting yet
3. Touch screen. I know it's tough due to the screen is almost out of reach
4. Better turn signal indicator arrow visibility
5. Faster gas pedal response
6. Improve transmission response in D. DS is good
7. Back-up camera and front prism camera. Back-up radar is yesteryear
technology
8. Improve door seals
9. Thicker steering wheel
10. Improve amplifier. FM has more base and sounds better than in CD mode
11. Improve product quality
