Hi Guys,

We are selling our current 2nd car that the wife uses (Audi Coupe) to buy another one. Due to the budget, it wont be a new car. And the choices are as you see from the Poll.

We prefer Diesels due to nice low down Torque and Fuel economy (except for Mini Coope S).

the idea is either to get a fun car (like the Mini), or a functional car that is also nice to look at and to drive (like the A4 avant).

My Wife's actually loves the Z4 but of course its a 2 seater and we have a little todler at home so we need more seats.

looking forward to your responses !

Ronald

For the A3, make sure you get the DSG transmission if possible.

Other: VW Golf GTi Mk5 (200 bhp)

It's not a diesel, but:

It has a very flat torque curve, it looks good, it's fun to drive and it's practical enough for a family. Plus - it's distinctly different from a 535d (which is also all of the above things, but in a different way), and it should be available at roughly the same price as your other choices.

Of course, running costs (fuel) are going to be higher than a diesel, but...

Most likely a brand new 335i sedan or the New 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan. Looks HOT!
