I noticed the other day that my rear console has 2 rectangle cut outs in the center. I have rear heated seat buttons and the ciggarette lighter power outlets. What else could possibly go back there?

Those cut outs are for the rear entertainment package.

It's the AV and headset connector for the rear entertainment package (will become available in September 04).

Thanks a lot Iceman. I only wish BMW NA would get off their a$$ and provide an entertainment package like every place else.

Also, do you know of a place around Frankfurt where I can purchase 12mm spacers? Reifen-Becker is screwing me over and not ordering my parts. (Lazy I guess) I am willing to drive there for good service.

When I was at the dealer here, the parts department was able to show me DVD packages for every region except for the US. He is checking on a way to put one inmy car with a region one player. I hope they find one.

Is it the standard screens in the headrests type setup, or is it the unit which is mounted on the roof?

Excellent, thanks. I'll call my dealer tomorrow and ask for a price.

If it's too scary, I'll go for the Nextbase tablet and the brodit mounting bracket.
