As you all may have heard, its raining like mad in Southern California and I'm noticing an increase in rattles coming from the back passenger area. When its dry here, my car doesn't have any rattles. However, when it rains, watch out!
I read somewhere that it might have something to do with the door seals getting wet? Anybody else experience this? Any fixes?
The noise the door seals seem to make when they have this problem is an odd kind-of rubbing sound that could be described as rattling. In my car it sounds like very heavy rain!
Rudy,
Ya, I've read the posts on carbaflo before. This seems to be related to wet weather conditions only though. Will carbaflo solve those problems.
Its quite easy to see that it is a weather related issue as it only occurs when it is raining. I've checked the seal inside the rear doors and it is definitely wet. But the door is not squeaking... its a rattle.
