Has anyone ever had this happen to you?
I dropped the car off for a simple oil change today and when I picked up the car, the stealership found all these issues that need to be fixed:
The crazy thing is that I replaced the valve cover gasket 2yrs ago at another BMW dealership. Also, I got a new battery last year. So, it kind of makes me question the validity of some of the claims on their "inspection" report. Did they really inspect it?
My car is in my sig and it has about 75k miles. What do you guys think?

Did they include the KY jelly too?
This is some bull-ish. Go to another dealer ...or even better, try to find an independent BMW specialist. Check online for reviews. Also, try to ask some of the other customers for their opinion of the place.
I'm a hardcore DIY'er, so the thought of any dealer touching my car makes my stomach turn.

If the repairs you previously had are still under two years they should be covered. I would take it back and tell then to replace these items for FREE! It's amazing how they find all of these things when we have to pay but when it's under warranty they can't find very much. My guess is that BMWNA don't put up with that BS...

Their customer service is nice, but wth is up with their inspection reports? Do your dealers give you guys inspection reports when you come in for service?

They give it the all-American try, whenever they have a chance (which is not very often these days, since I found a good indy shop). Last time I took it in was for the battery cable recall, and they gave me a laundry list similar to yours. I just told them I already knew about half the stuff, and that I knew they'd made up the other half. Not at this time, thank you. See you for the next recall or class-action fix.
