My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
Just visited the UK BMW website for fun and there are sure a lot of choices that we do not have here in the states
Many engines, M sport pkg, and differnet options
Seems like it would be cheaper to spec all cars the same - unless the cars for Europe are made in a differnet factory, but I thought there was only one place they built e60's - well, two actually - I've read they assemble the e60's in China also
Wish we could get something like the 535d in the US - 6.5 0-60 and 35 mpg

better standard options than we here in the EU.
And a lot cheaper also!!!
I suppse the Indiviual option is not available in the US, and that is really strange!?
BMW's philosophy has always been that the owner buys the basic car and builds it
up with options to personalize it.
In sure the diesels will come as soon as the US market will be ready for them.
All EU and US E60's come from the Dingolfing Plant in Germany.

Yeah thats strange as the US is the second largest mkt for BMW after Germany. The UK is BMW's 3rd largest mkt I think. BMW choices appear restricted in the USA - it should be exactly the opposite. Go figure....
