I either did not tighten the sway bar mount or that hit on the bottom of the swaybar weaken the mount considerably. I think I just did not tighten one of the bolts tight during the last job.

judging by the scrape marks, that mount took a pretty good hit from the pavement.
are you going to get it welded?

I agree with Turboawd - that was a pavement hit that caused that. It's weldable. If needed you can add an additional plate and weld that too.

Dufus me took a while to diagnose the noise. it made the noise at slight turns but not straight hitting bumps. it made a noise with quick tips of the steering wheel left or right. It did nothing when the car was not moving.

Basically with the active steering it did not do anything when going straight or when the car was not moving.

But with a quick tip to the right or the left the active steering would go into action.

ok anybody know what these two lines are for the swaybar?

Vents or pressure connections?

I have a welder coming out this afternoon and don't want these to melt.

hoping I can disconnect without a bunch of fluid loss.

I think it is better you don't.

Sometimes I wish I did not know what I know.

I think those are vent lines, and they just dead end on the frame rail. Follow the other end and maybe you can pull it out from there....may be easier.
